Gabriel Kwayie is an upcoming fashion designer who came to me looking for a website in order to showcase his work.
He wanted to achieve an interactive website that was easy to update, so we build it upon a JavaScript framework. This enabled me to deliver some nice effects including sliding functionality on the portfolio and a splash page whilst the content loaded. For the design he was looking for something with depth and texture, so I suggested some dark backgrounds to form the backdrop of the site and to give contrast to the content.

iNet Engineers is an internet consultancy headed by Jaimie Dobson.
Jaimie came to me with a brief for a rebranding of his company, he wanted to use Wordpress so that he could have the option to blog on the site without needing to use external software. He gave me some ideas of the styles he liked and I put together a number of designs based on his brief. I then coded the site and developed it into Wordpress so he could use it as a CMS (for the pages) and a blog.

Big Header FolioWeb Design : Wordpress 2.7 : CSS 2.1
Big Header Folio is a template designed for sale on ThemeForest.
For this template I wanted to make sure that users had the option to customize the template to work with their brand. I produced it in 5 colour schemes and made it highly customizable with an extensive options page, widget ready sidebars and dynamic menu's. The template was built on Wordpress 2.7, this enabled users to have their website (pages and portfolio) and their blog all on the same site and all editable from one administration panel, making it easier to make changes and update.

folioDelightWeb Design : Wordpress 2.7 : CSS 2.1
folioDelight is a wordpress template produced for ThemeForest.
The template was designed to allow for a portfolio and blog on the same site whilst keeping the process of updating both as simple as possible, hence the choice of Wordpress as the CMS. I used warm browns to give the site some depth and Myriad Pro as the default font to fit in with the stylish design as well as making it easy to read. The template comes with extensive options so that the user can set the site up without trouble.

Help DeveloperWeb Design : Wordpress
Help Developer is a designers blog offering tutorials, resources, help and more.
For the redesign of Help Developer I wanted to make it look as clean as possible and provide a clear separation from the content and everything else. I integrated a range of features including styled comments, social bookmarking, related posts and advertising functionality.

Codethatdesign is my coding service which I run. This was version 2.0 of the site.
For the second version of my Codethatdesign site I wanted to make it more professional and simple looking allowing visitors to go through the site with ease. I used jQuery throughout to make good use of precious screen real estate and keep the number of pages to a minimum. The portfolio section was set up in an accordion style allowing users to navigate through the examples with ease.

Long Brown FolioWeb Design : HTML 4.01 : CSS 2.1 : jQuery
Long Brown Folio is a portfolio template I produced for ThemeForest.
For this template I wanted to use the one page technique, this allows the user to scroll between each section without having to go from page to page. I implemented a jQuery based smooth scrolling function which gives a nice sliding effect when you go between each section. I also implemented a portfolio slider and lightbox plugin for navigating through portfolio items. For the design I used various shades of brown to produce a clean style focusing on the content and large typography to separate each section.

Eric NunleeWordpress 2.7 : jQuery
Eric Nunlee is a graphic designer based in New York, US.
Eric Nunlee came to me with this amazing design wanting it coded and implemented with Wordpress. He wanted the site to havesleek visual effects throughout so I suggested jQuery, this enabled me to deliver smooth scrolling, sliding, fading and more, which in turn gave it enhanced functionality and made the best use of screen real estate. The site was coded in valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional and tableless CSS 2.1.

Property FrontiersWordpress
Property Frontiers were integrating a blog area on their site and came to me with their designs.
Property Frontiers came to me wanting to integrate 5 blogs into their ASP.NET driven website, they wanted the blogs to share the same header and footer as the rest of the site. I took their designs and integrated them with Wordpress adding plugins and hacks to wordpress to make it work how they wanted, as a result it didn't validate but I did manage to get the blogs exactly how they wanted them.
Here's what the project manager said about my work: This project was quite complex as it required coding five wordpress blogs that each worked differently within a website. When I presented Simon with my detailed requirements, he not only fully implemented them but also suggested improvements in specific aspects of the blogs. Simon's strong points are his attention to detail, his research abilities for problem solving and his quick response times. He listened attentively to my requirements, researched where necessary and made timely quality deliveries. Mike Landry creates motion graphics and conceptual FX.
Mike Landry came to me with a design for his portfolio that he wanted implemented into Wordpress, for him it was important that it was set up as a template so that he could distribute it allowing others to use it on their site. He also wanted to have the option to change the background image based on the post/page you were on which enhanced the visual aesthetics of the site.
